I just stumbled upon this video on YouTube released in 1984, and I hate to say it but everyone who thought they were starting a new trend the past few years were about 25 years too late. Not only did Corey Hart make wearing "Sunglasses at Night" a hot trend but he also made Wayfarers cool. See below for evidential proof:
